I take four to six engagements a year. The first conversation is thirty minutes and costs nothing; its purpose is to establish whether there is a problem I can genuinely help with.
Before you write
It helps to know three things: what was decided, what has actually happened since, and who in the organisation would describe the gap differently to you.
If you do not know the answer to the third, that is often the most useful place to begin.
